Morgan Asbell has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2018, they worked as the Director of Communications & Creative Design at Reveer Group. Prior to that, they served as a Litigation Paralegal at Bernstein and Bernstein, LLC from 2017 to 2018. In 2016, Asbell held the position of Senior VP & COO at SPEAK Strategic, where they managed operations budgeting, goal setting, and client relationships. They also worked as the Communications Director for the South Carolina House Democratic Caucus in 2015, overseeing media relations and strategic communications planning. Asbell served as Chief of Staff for SC State Representative James E. Smith, Jr. in 2014, handling constituent requests and legislative coordination. They also worked as the GOTV Director for the South Carolina Democratic Party, managing voter outreach operations and implementing technology tools. As a Field Organizer for the party, they focused on grassroots organizing. In earlier roles, Asbell served as a Summer Associate for Anderson County Economic Development and as an Assistant JV Basketball Coach at Wren High School.

Morgan Asbell attended Erskine College from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
