John Smith is the current CEO of Revel City Properties. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Americas Head of Energy, Industrials & Real Estate at GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) from May 2015 to April 2018. In this role, they led the North American Energy, Industrials & Real Estate Product Team and was responsible for business development and client relationships in the energy/industrials/real estate sector. From May 2014 to May 2015, John was an Energy & Sustainability Associate at Cushman & Wakefield, where they implemented a Corporate Sustainability program and managed the environmental, social and economic impact of internal operations for the company's U.S. portfolio. Prior to that, they served as a Leadership Fellow at the Port Authority of NY & NJ from June 2013 to May 2014. John has a proven track record in moving organizations forward and is committed to sustainable practices.

The CEO has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts from The Culinary Institute of America, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Science from Rutgers University. The CEO also has a certification from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) AP Operations & Maintenance.
