Matthew Rosca-Halmagean has been working in the tech industry since 2018. In that year, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Houston, exploring heightened performance and strengthened security of smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain. In 2019, they joined Penn Blockchain as Vice President of Consulting and Penn Labs as Team Lead and Full Stack Engineer. In 2021, they began working at Revelio Labs as a Data Engineer and Data Sourcing Software Engineer Intern. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for overseeing the development and vision of products, synchronizing with other teams, considering challenges with changing circumstances, updating codebases to meet organization standards, building out core functionality, ensuring seamless integration with apps, striking a balance between user groups, and coordinating with software and business developers.
Matthew Rosca-Halmagean is currently pursuing a dual degree from the Jerome Fisher M&T Program at the University of Pennsylvania and The Wharton School. The dual degree consists of a Bachelor of Science in Economics (B.S.) from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) with a field of study in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to this, they completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme with a STEM Endorsement from Westchester Academy for International Studies.
