Robert Bicking has held various roles throughout their work experience. Robert started their career at LAN Solutions Inc in 2009, where they worked as a Computer Tech and eventually became the IT Service Manager. In this role, they managed a small team of technicians and used RMM tools to oversee the IT needs of over 150 small business clients. Robert handled a range of tasks, including managing server systems (from 2003 to 2012 R2), email systems (from Exchange 2003 to 2013), and SQL databases. Robert also facilitated desktop sharing between computers.
After working at LAN Solutions Inc for seven years, Bicking moved on to Alexaur Technology Services, Inc. in 2016, where they served as the Lead Network Engineer. Robert was responsible for leading network-related projects and ensuring their successful implementation.
In 2017, Bicking joined Safina Technologies Inc. as a Senior Systems Engineer. During their time with the company, they contributed to the design and maintenance of complex systems.
Later in 2017, Bicking transitioned to NorthStar Memorial Group as a Network Administrator. Robert played a key role in managing the organization's network infrastructure.
Currently, Bicking is working as the Director of Managed Services at RevelSec, a position they have held since 2018. In this role, they oversee the management and delivery of the company's managed services offerings.
Robert Bicking obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology - Security from Western Governors University from 2016 to 2019. Robert'sfocus of study was in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2004, they attended The University of Texas at Austin, although no degree is specified. In addition to their formal education, Robert has obtained several certifications, including CCNA from Cisco in August 2017, A+ from CompTIA in January 2002, Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) from Cisco in February 2019, ITIL Foundations from ITIL Certified in June 2018, Network+ from CompTIA in December 2016, and Server+ from CompTIA in February 2013.
