Karina Tran

Karina Tran, SPHR has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources. Karina began their career as a Human Resources Administrator at Calpine in 2005. Karina then worked at BEA Systems as a Human Resources Analyst before transitioning to the role of Human Resources Specialist at Santa Clara County Office of Education. Karina then joined the City of Houston as a Senior Human Resources Specialist, where they served as an Executive Recruiter for the Mayor's Office. Karina later became an HR Business Partner at Toshiba International Corporation and eventually moved on to become the Director of Human Resources at Revenew International, where they lead all HR initiatives and programs.

Karina Tran, SPHR, obtained their Bachelor of Science in HR Management from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2005. In 2016, they obtained their SPHR certification from HR Certification Institute - HRCI. In 2021, Karina also completed the "Unconscious Bias" certification from LinkedIn. Additionally, they completed the Leadership Institute Program for Supervisors and Managers with the City of Houston.
