Guido Torres

Guido Torres has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Guido currently works as a Frontend Engineer at RevenueCat, starting in September 2021. Prior to that, from October 2020 to September 2021, they worked as a Full Stack Web Developer at digiventures.

In 2019, Guido worked at _coderio | Software Development Company as a Frontend Developer and Project Leader. Guido was responsible for developing a B2B site for a pharmaceutical client using modern technologies such as ReactJs, Redux, Typescript, SCSS, MUI, StoryBook, Jest, and React Testing Library. Guido also managed goals and tasks for each project member, presented live demos to clients, and facilitated communication between frontend and backend teams.

Before joining _coderio, Guido worked as a Freelance Web Developer, providing frontend development and UI design services to various clients. Guido was involved in web/UI design, frontend web development using HTML, CSS, JS, and Bootstrap, as well as hosting and optimizing websites for mobile users.

In 2018, Guido co-founded estudio muss., an Industrial Design studio, where they designed and developed products for the studio's shop and provided web design and development services to clients. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2018, they worked at Dicuatro as an Industrial Designer and Team Leader, responsible for new product/packaging design, material optimization, and customer service.

Guido's earlier work experience includes roles as an Industrial Designer at Arquitectura Automotriz, where they designed parts and tooling, operated CNC machines, and created technical drawings for project proposals. Guido also had a role as a Lift Attendant/Operator at Stowe Mountain Resort as part of a work and travel exchange program.

Additionally, Guido has experience in customer service and payment administration roles. Guido worked as a Payment Analyst and Customer Service representative at ClickOn, where they handled weekly payments, billing, and personalized attention to associates. Guido also worked as a Customer Service representative at MercadoLibre.

Throughout their career, Guido has demonstrated proficiency in frontend development, UI design, project management, and team coordination.

Guido Torres has a well-rounded education history. Guido began their educational journey in 2005 at ORT Technical School, where they pursued a Technical Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology (ITC). Guido successfully completed this program in 2009.

Afterward, in 2010, Guido enrolled at the University of Buenos Aires, where they pursued a degree in Industrial Design. Guido dedicated seven years of their academic life to this program, ultimately completing it in 2017. During their time at the University, they focused on Industrial and Product Design, gaining knowledge and expertise in this field.

In 2019, Guido decided to expand their skill set by attending Acámica, where they pursued a Full Stack Web Developer degree. This program enabled him to develop skills in website and web app development, as well as digital/multimedia content and informatic resources. Guido successfully completed this program in 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Guido has also obtained additional certifications to further enhance their skills and qualifications. In August 2020, they achieved an EF SET English Certificate with a proficiency level of C2 (81/100). This certification demonstrates their strong command of the English language. Moreover, in April 2020, they obtained a Certification in Full Stack Web Development from Acámica, showcasing their expertise in this particular area.
