Jon Powers

Jon Powers is a seasoned professional in the clean energy sector, currently serving as Co-Founder of CleanCapital since January 2016, where the focus is on innovative investment solutions for clean energy generation. In addition, Jon operates Pearl Creek Ventures, providing advisory services on the clean energy transition, and holds key advisory positions with organizations such as EDF Action, REVERB, and Project Green Schools, all aimed at fostering environmental leadership and action. Jon's prior experience includes roles at GRID Alternatives, Bloom Energy, and the White House Council on Environmental Quality as the Federal Chief Sustainability Officer, appointed by President Obama. Jon Powers holds a Master's degree in Global Security Studies with a focus on Energy Security from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in Education and History from John Carroll University.
