Paul Eggleton has worked in the field of immunology since 1990. Paul began their career as a Research Fellow at Boston University, and then moved to the University of Oxford in 1994, where they served as a University Lecturer and Researcher. In 2002, they joined the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry as a Senior Lecturer in Immunology. Paul also began working at the University of Exeter that same year, where they served as an Immunologist until 2017. During that time, they also worked at the University of Alberta as a Visiting Professor from 2012 to 2017. In 2017, they began working at UCB as an Associate Research Director, and in 2021 they joined Revolo Biotherapeutics as the Senior Director of Immunology. Paul is currently also an Hon Professor of Immunology at the University of Exeter Medical School.
Paul Eggleton's education history consists of a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine (1987-1989), a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England (1989-1991), a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biological Sciences from the University of Plymouth (1981-1983), and a secondary school education at Highfield School (1974-1979) in Biology and Chemistry.
