Chief Strategy Officer at Revolution

Chris Glancey has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Chris is currently working as the Chief Strategy Officer at Revolution, a position they have held since January 2022. Previously, they worked at Revolution as the Head of Online Marketing from January 2019 to January 2022, where they managed clients in different sectors and was responsible for their HubSpot accounts. Prior to that, they were an Online Marketing Account Manager at Revolution from April 2018 to January 2022.

Before joining Revolution, Chris worked as an Online Marketing Executive at Plimsoll Publishing Limited from August 2012 to April 2018. There, they handled digital communications and PR activities, managed relationships with external PR agencies, created PR content for media campaigns, and managed social media accounts, among other responsibilities.

Chris also gained valuable experience as an Account Executive at Point Pleasant Communications, where they completed one month of work experience. Chris wrote press releases, managed social media output, and liaised with clients during their tenure.

Additionally, Chris has worked at prominent organizations such as the BBC and The Northern Echo, where they gained hands-on experience in journalism. Chris served as an Office Assistant at the BBC for the 2012 Olympic Games, co-ordinating and producing content for Look North. At The Northern Echo, they completed one week of work experience on the sports desk, published articles, and conducted an exclusive interview with a former football player.

Chris Glancey also has experience in the construction industry, having worked as a Yard Operative at Mabey Hire Ltd during the summers of 2010 and 2011. In this role, they prepared equipment for hire, liaised with customers, and potential clients.

Chris Glancey completed their education at several institutions. Chris attended Whitburn C of E School from 2002 to 2007, where they earned their GCSEs. From 2007 to 2009, they studied A Levels at Newcastle College, focusing on English Language and Literature, Media Studies, History, and ICT. Chris then pursued a degree in Sport Journalism at the University of Sunderland from 2009 to 2012. After several years, Chris enrolled in nesma North East Sales and Marketing Academy, where they obtained a Certificate in Professional Marketing - Level 4 (Digital) from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, in 2017, they completed the DMI Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing - Level 5 at the same institution.
