John Contreras

John Contreras has over 18 years of experience in various roles within the technology industry. John is currently serving as the VP of Product & Engineering (US) at Reward Gateway since March 2022. Prior to this, John was the CEO and Co-founder of MoveSpring, a health & wellbeing platform for organizations and individuals that was acquired by Reward Gateway in March 2022.

Before their role at MoveSpring, John worked as a Partner & Web/Mobile Development Consultant at 3binary, where they worked with established businesses and startups to bring their ideas to market using web and mobile technologies. John provided technical consulting and expertise in various technologies such as Ruby on Rails, iOS, Objective-C, JavaScript, AngularJS, Redis, Elastic Search, and R.

From 2008 to 2014, John held multiple roles at AIM Specialty Health, including Director of Architecture/Development, Technical Manager of Application Architecture, and Lead Developer. In these positions, they led product teams, defined new platform solutions, introduced agile methodologies, and remained hands-on in product development.

Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Consultant, where they served as a Lead Developer/Consultant for several large companies, building web solutions primarily using C#, ASP. NET, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SQL Server, and Web Services.

Their earlier experience includes working as a Senior Developer/Architect at Magenic, where they developed expertise in software architecture and development.

Throughout their career, John has demonstrated strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a track record of successful product development and implementation.
