Kataryna Kurakina

Kateryna Kurakina is an experienced communications professional with a focus on environmental and wildlife initiatives. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at Rewilding Europe since June 2022 and as a Communications Officer at Rewilding Ukraine since February 2019, Kateryna has developed expertise in conveying complex messages to various audiences. Previous roles include Fundraising Officer and Communications Officer at WWF from September 2007 to June 2020, and Laboratory Assistant at the South Biotechnological Center in Plant Cultivation in Odessa, Ukraine, from October 2006 to August 2007. Kateryna Kurakina holds a Master of Science in Genetics from Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University and is pursuing a Candidate of Science degree in Genetics at the same institution.
