Nelleke De Weerd

Nelleke de Weerd is a Communications Manager at Rewilding Europe since March 2020. Previously, Nelleke held positions such as Digital Marketing Intern at Paradise Interns, Social Media Manager/Content Creator at Ceningan Divers, Ecologist at Witteveen+Bos, and Junior Consultant at AeroVision B.V. Nelleke also has experience as a Master Thesis Student at Wageningen Universiteit, focusing on deriving animal behaviour from GPS tracking. Additionally, Nelleke completed an internship on Fusarium wilt in banana Maça in an agroforestry system at Universidade Federal de Viçosa. Nelleke holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Forest and Nature Conservation from Wageningen University & Research.
