Alixandra Vila is a seasoned professional with experience in political affairs and journalism. Since August 2016, Alixandra has served as a Political Affairs Officer for the Office of Deputy Speaker Rogelio D. Pacquiao in the House of Representatives of the Philippines, focusing on drafting policies and legislation. Concurrently, Alixandra contributes as a writer for the South China Morning Post and Radar-list, pitching story ideas to editors. Previous roles include editing and contributing at REX Book Store, Inc., Philstar.com as a Journalist writing on various topics, and as a Content Writer for Natureworld News. Alixandra holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning (2014-2019) and a Bachelor’s degree in BS Human Ecology, specializing in Human Settlements Planning (2007-2012) from the University of the Philippines.
