Enrique Villegas

Enrique Villegas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as CMC Development Manager and Manager of Manufacturing & Process Development at Ixaka since April 2015, Enrique leads GMP activities for the clinical manufacture of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) in a grade B cleanroom environment, overseeing compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Previous experience includes roles at Lonza Biologics as an Upstream Scientist, Curaxys Biopharmaceuticals as Head of the Downstream Department, and involvement in molecular biology research at VIRCELL S.L. and Puleva Biotech Laboratories. Enrique holds a PhD in Molecular Biology, a BSc in Biochemistry, and a BSc in Pharmacy, all from the University of Granada, Spain.
