Nicolas Besson began his career as a bond trader at Unigestion in 1994, before becoming assistant to the head of the trading department at the Republic National Bank of New York in 1998. He joined Darier Hentsch & Cie in 2001, initially as an analyst and bond fund manager, and later in 2005, he became global co-Head of Fixed Income for the LODH group. In 2008, he joined the private bank’s discretionary management team as a Bond Manager, developing dedicated bond funds and managing multi-asset mandates. His career continued at HSBC, where in 2009 he took over responsibility for bond management and strategy in Geneva. After a brief stint in Private Banking at Credit Suisse, he joined REYL & Cie in 2015 as Head of Fixed Income and Senior Portfolio Manager. He was appointed Deputy Chief Investment Officer in 2020 and Chief Investment Officer in 2022.
