John Bracken

John Bracken is a Senior Engineer and Technologist at Reynolds American Inc. since April 2021, where responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams in capital equipment projects and managing multiple initiatives. Previously, John served as a Project Engineer at HAECO, guiding a team of 12 engineers in the development of a new seating platform for Airbus and successfully managing project schedules. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at General Dynamics and Lead Mechanical Engineer at Rockwell Collins, focusing on innovative seat design and product development. John began the career as a Design Engineer at Zodiac Aerospace, where leadership of multidisciplinary teams resulted in the design of flight-worthy products. Early career experiences also include an Accounting and Billing Intern position at Gate Gourmet and a Summer Technical Intern role at MITRE Corporation. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, completed in 2011.
