David Long

David Long has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. David has worked as a Field Engineering Supervisor at RF Connect since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Construction Manager at Commdex from June 2021 to November 2022, where they oversaw multiple projects for quality installations on mission-critical platforms. From January 2020 to June 2021, they worked as an Operations Manager at HMI.

Before that, David held the role of Services Manager at Zinwave from 2017 to 2020, where they managed presales design, testing, planning support, and post-sale installation and commissioning. David supported multiple Regional Sales Directors in the East Coast. Between 2010 and 2020, they served as a Chapter Chair at RMEF.

David also gained experience as a Senior Field Engineer at HMI Services, Inc. from June 2014 to September 2017, and as a Senior DAS Engineer at Vertex Innovations, Inc. from January 2013 to June 2014. David worked as an RF Systems Engineer at Cellular Specialties, Inc. from March 2011 to January 2013.

Furthermore, David had roles at Nexius as a PM and Design Engineer from November 2010 to March 2011. David started their career as a Project Manager at ADC in June 2004, where they worked until November 2010.

David Long attended the USMC from 1984 to 1990, where they earned a degree in Advanced Electronics. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications including PC Tel from PCTEL in August 2022, Voyager 5.1 from Motorola Solutions in August 2022, General Radio Operators License from the Federal Communications Commission in May 2022, Dali Wireless-Install, Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance from Dali Wireless in September 2021, and Everon Small Cell from Corning Incorporated in October 2021.
