Ashraf Shanab (he/him)

Ashraf Shanab has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ashraf began their career in 2003 as a Volunteer Ward Carer at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London. In 2005, they joined Barclays as a Personal Banker and later served as Acting Branch Manager/Personal Banker.

In 2008, Ashraf joined S&P Capital IQ as a Client Development Associate and subsequently held roles as Relationship Manager EMEA and Business Development & Relationship Manager. Ashraf worked there until 2012, gaining experience in business development and building relationships with clients.

Following their time at S&P Capital IQ, Ashraf joined SNL Financial in 2012 as a Business Development Manager. Later that year, they moved to Abu Shanab Co. where they served as an Assistant Director, consulting the company on business challenges and managing the relationship with a key client. Ashraf remained with the company until 2016.

From 2016 to 2018, Ashraf worked at Exchange Data International as a Business Development & Relationship Manager, focusing on the Asia Pac, Middle East, and Africa regions. Ashraf then joined Infomineo in 2018 as the Business Development & Relationship Director for EMEA.

Currently, Ashraf is employed at RFI Global, where they have held positions as Director EMEA and currently as Head of Sales in the EMEA Region.

Ashraf Shanab (he/him) completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Medical Biochemistry from King's College London, attending from 2002 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the TXF Private Insurance certification from The CPD Certification Service in November 2017. Ashraf also completed a certification in Investment Banking from Training the Street, though the exact date is unknown.
