Ricardo Triana

Ricardo Triana is an experienced professional currently serving as the Cloud FinOps Service Owner at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated since August 2023. With extensive involvement in the FinOps community through the FinOps Foundation, Ricardo has contributed to several working groups, including the establishment of the Usage Optimization group and the production of white papers on cloud cost optimization for AWS, Azure, and GCP. Previously, as a Senior Manager in Solutions Architecture at Accenture, Ricardo focused on FinOps maturity assessments and technology architecture design. A former Partner Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services, Ricardo specialized in scalable infrastructures and enterprise-grade solutions, while also holding roles as a Technical Account Manager and IT Transformation Consultant. Ricardo’s career began at NetApp, where significant contributions were made in partner enablement and professional services. Academic qualifications include an M.B.A. in Marketing from Baruch College, a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Montclair State University, and a Professional Dog Trainer certification from Catch Canine Trainers Academy.
