Colby Sutton

Colby Sutton currently serves as the Sr. Director of Business Development at FET Variperm, a role assumed in January 2024 following FET's acquisition of Variperm Energy Services. Prior to this position, Colby held the title of Vice President of Business Development and Technology at Variperm Energy Services from July 2021 until January 2024, which occurred after the merger of Variperm Canada Ltd. with RGL Reservoir Management Inc. Colby's experience at RGL Reservoir Management Inc. spanned several key positions from March 2015 to July 2021, including Director of Business Development and various managerial roles in business development and technical sales. Earlier career experience includes roles as Completions Field Engineer and Drilling & Completions Engineer at MEG Energy Corp. Colby holds an Executive Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Haskayne School of Business and an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta.
