Tonya Haughwout

Tonya Haughwout has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Most recently, they worked as a Systems Engineer at RGNext starting in June 2020. Prior to that, they were an Engineering Analyst at Sierra Lobo, Inc. from February 2018 to June 2020, where they focused on designing and documenting electrical systems for the next space transportation system. Tonya also has experience as a Math Tutor at Eastern Florida State College from January 2017 to February 2018. Before that, they were a Geometry teacher at Rockledge High School from August 2015 to June 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Substitute Teacher from July 2011 to June 2015, with certifications in Math, Physics, and Biology. Lastly, they had a long tenure at United Space Alliance as an Engineer from September 1987 to July 2011, where they provided technical integration for shuttle power-on testing and launch operations.

Tonya Haughwout earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Florida between 1985 and 1987. In 2011, they enrolled in Eastern Florida State College to study Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance, but it is unclear whether they completed a degree program there.
