Kai Ru Ho

Kai Ru Ho has extensive work experience in the financial industry. From 1998 to 2000, Kai worked as an Associate/Senior Associate at Arthur Andersen & Co. Following this, from 2000 to 2012, Kai held various managerial positions at Ernst & Young. In 2013, Kai joined OSK Investment Bank Berhad as an Associate Director, Finance. During the same year, Kai also started working at RHB Banking Group, where they held multiple roles including Head of Strategy & Analytics, Head of Liquidity & Banking Book Management, and currently, Head of Liability Management & Strategy. Kai's responsibilities include managing treasury portfolios, executing hedging transactions, and leading strategic funding initiatives, among other things.

Kai Ru Ho has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Financial Studies from the University of Exeter, obtained between 1996 and 1998. They also completed the Malaysian Financial Markets Certificate (PPKM) from Persatuan Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia/Asian Institute of Charterd Bankers from 2013 to 2014. Kai Ru Ho pursued professional certifications in the banking industry, including the Professional Banker qualification from The Chartered Banker Institute in 2018 and the Chartered Banker qualification from the same institute from 2019 to 2021.

In recent years, Kai Ru Ho has focused on sustainable finance and sustainability studies. They completed the Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies program at Cambridge Judge Business School in 2022, as well as the Leading Sustainable Organisation Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, in the same year. Most recently, Kai Ru Ho obtained a Green & Sustainable Finance Certificate from The Chartered Banker Institute in 2023.
