Alessia Mauta

Alessia Mauta is an experienced aerospace professional currently serving as the LUXEOSys Data Processing Center Manager and Satellite Operations Services Manager at Starion since July 2021. Prior to this role, Alessia worked at Inmarsat from April 2018 to July 2021 as a Spacecraft Analyst/Operations Engineer, where responsibilities included leading the Satellite Operations Engineer role for the Inmarsat 6 program and managing operational environment integration. Alessia's earlier experience includes serving as an Operations Preparation Engineer for the Meteosat Third Generation at OHB System, where tasks involved the production of operational manuals and flight procedures. Alessia also worked as a Controller for spacecraft operations at SES Satellites, with duties encompassing spacecraft monitoring, command, and data analysis. Alessia holds a Master's degree in Astronautical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma.
