Alex Housten

Alex Housten is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operational leadership and business transformation. Currently serving as COO at Rheem Manufacturing since February 2024, Alex previously held the position of COO at dormakaba from March 2020 to February 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing global operations and driving significant growth initiatives as a member of the Group Executive Committee. Prior to dormakaba, Alex spent nearly 15 years at Carrier in various roles, culminating as VP & GM of Fire & Security Products for the Americas, managing multiple key business units. Alex holds an MBA in Finance and Operations from Purdue University Daniels School of Business, as well as a BSIE in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. Additional educational background includes studies at INSEAD and the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
