David Satori has a diverse work experience. David started in 2018 as a Consultant for Rewilding Mycology, where they focused on promoting the recognition and conservation of fungi. In 2021, they co-founded Rhizocore Technologies and assumed the role of Chief Mycologist. Prior to that, in 2021, they founded Deep Science Ventures, a company that focused on developing fungal solutions for reforestation. Before venturing into mycology, David worked as a Species Conservation Researcher at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, where they conducted research on tropical plant species for conservation assessments. David also worked as a Physics Teacher at Bentley Wood High School, teaching physics across different grade levels and gaining skills in presentation and time management.
David Satori's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from King's College London, which they obtained from 2013 to 2016. Following this, they pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Physics at the University of Oxford from 2017 to 2018. Lastly, they completed a Master of Science degree in Plant and Fungal Taxonomy, Diversity, and Conservation at Queen Mary University of London from 2019 to 2020.
