Carmen Diaz-Jusino (She, Her, Hers, Ella)

Carmen Diaz-Jusino currently serves as a Strategic Initiative Officer at the Rhode Island Foundation, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Carmen worked as Vice President Community Development Officer at BankNewport from March 2020 to July 2023 and held the position of Strategic Initiative Officer for Economic Security at the Rhode Island Foundation from March 2018 to March 2020. Carmen accumulated extensive experience at the Center for Women & Enterprise from October 2006 to March 2018, where roles included Vice-President of Programs & Community Development and Senior Director of Program & Service Delivery, among others. Early career experience includes a position as Bilingual Job Developer at Goodwill Industries of Rhode Island from October 2004 to October 2006. Carmen holds a Master’s Degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management & Leadership from Springfield College, a Bachelor in Science in Psychology from Universidad del Caribe in the Dominican Republic, and an Associate Degree in General Studies from CCRI.
