Chris Barnett

Chris Barnett is an experienced communications and marketing professional, currently serving as the Senior Communications and Marketing Officer at The Rhode Island Foundation since July 2013. Prior to this role, Chris was the Communications Director at the Office of the Secretary of State from March 2007 to July 2013, where services were enhanced to facilitate voting and promote public access to government information. Before that, Chris held the position of Communications Director at RIHousing from July 1991 to March 2007, focusing on providing housing assistance to Rhode Islanders. Chris holds a degree from the University of Rhode Island, earned between 1974 and 1978.
