Khaz Brooks

Khaz Brooks is an experienced zookeeper currently employed at Roger Williams Park Zoo since December 2022. Prior to this role, Khaz served in various capacities at Wolf Park, Inc. from May 2017 to December 2022, including Training and Enrichment Coordinator, Species Curator, and Education Coordinator. Responsibilities involved overseeing animal training programs, ensuring proper husbandry practices, and organizing educational programs for visitors. Between January 2019 and January 2022, Khaz worked as a Certified Trainer at Pawsitive Pets, LLC, providing guidance based on force-free training principles. Earlier experience includes a significant tenure at K-9 COACH (BED & BARK) from May 2011 to January 2017, where Khaz held multiple roles including Certified Trainer, Kennel Manager, and Client Coach. Khaz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology from Kennesaw State University, earned between 2008 and 2021.
