Whitney Jones

Whitney Jones is an Associate Director at Rhodium Group, where management of US energy research and a team of analysts involves the use of diverse energy and economic models to assess the impact of policy proposals and market shifts on the US energy system and macroeconomy. Expertise encompasses carbon capture, energy and electric power systems modeling, and economy-wide decarbonization. Prior roles include Senior Analyst and Climate & Energy Policy Analyst at the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions, where modeling for Carbon Dioxide regulation and evaluations of policy changes in the electric power sector were conducted. Whitney's experience also includes a Climate Corps Fellowship at the Environmental Defense Fund and Program Manager at the Solana Center for Environmental Innovation.
