Charles (Chip) Elliott, PhD, PE has a diverse work experience spanning multiple sectors. Charles (Chip) currently works as a Client Success Manager at Rhombus Power Inc., where they manage the delivery of complex enterprise AI software deployments and works with customer stakeholders to define use cases and track business value.

Prior to their current role, Dr. Elliott worked as a Lead Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, providing expert analysis and analytical tools to support decision-making processes. Charles (Chip) also served as an Assistant Professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point, teaching courses on hydrogeology, waste management, and environmental systems analysis.

Before transitioning to civilian work, Dr. Elliott had a notable military career. Charles (Chip) served as a Consultant/Senior Advisor and Battalion Executive Officer/Deputy Director in the US Army. Charles (Chip) commanded a team in Iraq, organized, equipped, and trained a newly formed Iraqi Motor Transport Regiment, and successfully transferred the unit to Iraqi control. Additionally, they played a strategic role in restructuring and planning operations within the Army.

Dr. Elliott's work experience also includes serving as a Program Director of General Chemistry at the United States Military Academy, where they led a team of faculty members and received recognition for their contributions to citizen science. Charles (Chip) has also held positions as a Consultant/Military Transition Team Commander and a Strategic Planner in the US Army.

Throughout their career, Dr. Elliott has demonstrated expertise in various fields, including AI software deployment, decision support analysis, environmental engineering, and military operations.

Charles (Chip) Elliott, PhD, PE's education history began in 1984 at Seoul American High School, where they completed their high school education. Charles (Chip) then went on to attend the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Charles pursued further education at The Johns Hopkins University. Charles (Chip) attended from 1997 to 1999 and obtained a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering. Later, they returned to The Johns Hopkins University and earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Geography and Environmental Engineering, completing their studies from 2007 to 2010.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Charles has obtained certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Charles (Chip) became a Certified Analytics Professional in April 2017 through INFORMS. In May 2013, they obtained the Professional Engineer certification from the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation.
