Leo Matsuo

Leo Matsuo has over 18 years of experience in talent management, international HR, international recruitment, and operations management. Since 2021, they have been working as a Talent Manager at Rhombus Power Inc. From 2015-2021, they worked at IMPAQ International as an International HR Manager and International Recruitment Manager and a Senior International Talent Acquisition Specialist, where they led full-cycle recruitment functions, collaborated closely with senior management, and advised on go/no-go decisions. From 2010-2015, they worked at ACDI/VOCA as an International Recruiter and New Business Development, where they were responsible for technical recruitment, candidate searches, and formatting CVs for proposals and submission to donors. From 2008-2010, they worked at The Louis Berger Group as an International Staffing Specialist and Readiness Manager, where they managed the recruitment cycle for Louis Berger Group's World Wide Prime Power IDIQ Contract. From 2003-2008, they worked at Century Cruising, LLC as a First Mate and Operations Manager, where they were responsible for managing daily operational maintenance, chartering logistics, US Coast Guard Compliance, crewing, winterizing and delivery of yacht, along with three crewmembers.

Leo Matsuo graduated from The George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Development and Asian Studies.
