Mark Cookson

Mark Cookson has extensive experience in web development and ICT administration, currently serving as the CRM & Web Development Officer at Ribble Valley Borough Council since February 2015. Previous roles include Business Owner at AMEK Web Services, where web design and hosting were primary responsibilities, and Web Manager at Greater Manchester Police, overseeing internet and intranet systems. Mark has also worked in administration and IT support across various organizations, including John Macadam & Son, where web development and SEO were key duties. Early career experiences span roles in the prison service, transportation, and as a mechanical fitter, alongside active engagement as a special constable within Lancashire Constabulary.
