Dianko Santos

Dianko Santos has a diverse range of work experience in telecommunications and network engineering. Dianko began their career in 2004 as an Assistant Network Manager at the Instituto de Ingeniería de la UNAM, where they were responsible for LAN and WAN monitoring, VoIP telephony and IP CCTV network management, and biometric equipment management. From 2006 to 2013, Dianko worked as a NOC Engineer at MCM Telecom, where they had various responsibilities including being the head administrator of Broadworks, Oracle SBC, GWs Quintum, GWs CISCO, SBC Jasomi, and AGL EdgeWater platforms. In this role, they also conducted telephony systems recovery, traffic analysis, troubleshooting, and proposed improvements. Following this, Dianko joined Telmex in 2013 as a Senior Design Engineer, where they focused on designing and implementing VoIP wholesale services based on SIP platforms such as Broadworks and Oracle SBC. Dianko'sresponsibilities included requirement planning, analysis, implementation, management, and testing of VoIP equipment. Since 2017, Dianko has been working at Ribbon Communications as a Systems Integration Sr. Tech Specialist. In this role, they have been involved in database design, trunking solution design, and has worked with various protocols such as SIP, SIP-I, ISDN, SS7, Diameter, and external DBs for LNP and STIR-SHAKEN.

Dianko Santos completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at the Facultad de Ingeniería de la UNAM from 1999 to 2004. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Information Technology at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

In addition to their formal education, Dianko Santos has obtained several certifications. They became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2022. In June 2021, they achieved the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council. Furthermore, they obtained the SIP School Certified Associate (SSCA) accreditation from The SIP School in June 2020.

Dianko Santos also holds the following certifications: PSX - Advanced - IP from Ribbon Communications in June 2017, SBC Core Support Certification from Ribbon Communications in June 2017, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from Cisco in May 2011, and Broadsoft Certified Platform Administrator Program from BroadSoft in 2010.
