Yiftach Shinar

Yiftach Shinar has a vast work experience spanning over several decades. Yiftach has held various leadership positions in different companies.

Starting in 1989, Yiftach worked as a Senior Hardware Engineer at National Semiconductor for six years. Yiftach then joined LSI Logic in 1995, where they served as a System Validation & Applications Manager. In this role, they managed the hardware team in the Set Top Box group and was responsible for post-silicon activities.

In 1999, Yiftach moved to Seabridge as the Director of the Ethernet Program. Here, they led a large group of hardware and software engineers in the development of a complex product line, ensuring the successful delivery of end-to-end product releases.

After their tenure at Seabridge, Yiftach joined ECI Telecom in 2007. Yiftach initially served as the Assistant Vice President and Division Manager of Program Management, Access. In this role, they acted as a program manager for a multidisciplinary research and development unit spread across multiple sites. Yiftach also supervised a team of five project managers and successfully managed several major product releases.

At ECI Telecom, Yiftach progressed to Vice President of Research and Development and Head of Hardware & Engineering in 2013. In this position, they played a crucial role in leading the company's hardware and engineering departments. Yiftach continued in this role until their departure in March 2020.

Currently, Yiftach Shinar is employed at Ribbon Communications as the Vice President of Research & Development and Head of Hardware & Engineering. Yiftach assumed this position in March 2020 and continues to contribute their expertise to the company.

Yiftach Shinar completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1985 to 1989.
