Tom Clansen

Tom joined RIC in 2016. Tom is a talented leader with considerable Surplus Lines experience. He started his career with AIG before moving to General Star Management Company in an underwriting position. After a brief stop with an e-commerce insurance start up, Tom became a wholesale broker with Bliss & Glennon. In 2002, he joined Chubb Custom where he led the Western Region until joining RIC.

Tom is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach with a B.A. in Human Resource management. He also has an MBA in Finance & Marketing from the University of Southern California.
