Joanna Thompson

Joanna Thompson has a diverse professional background, combining experience in education, event management, and social media marketing. Joanna served as a STEM and Physical Education Teacher and Social Media Marketing Specialist at Children's World Learning Center from August 2018 to August 2021, and held the role of President of the Pitt Community College Paralegal Association from January 2019 to May 2021. Prior experience includes working as an Event Decorator and Bar Manager at McConnell Golf, a Social Media Marketing Intern at East Carolina University, and a Non-Profit Fundraising and Social Media/Marketing Specialist at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. Joanna earned a Bachelor of Science in University Studies with a minor in Public Relations from East Carolina University and a Paralegal Diploma from Pitt Community College.
