Luis Quinones

Luis Quinones has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Luis currently works as the Director of Information Technology at Rich Township High School District 227, where they lead the technological transformation and enhances the district's digital infrastructure. Additionally, Luis has served as a Cyber Operations Officer and Company Commander in the United States Army Reserve, where they conducted defensive cyberspace operations and implemented strategies to detect and respond to cyber threats. Luis has also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Prairie State College, an IT Technician at School City of East Chicago, and as the Director of Information Technology at West Harvey Dixmoor School District 147. In their various roles, Luis has demonstrated expertise in managing technology operations, maintaining hardware and software systems, and ensuring data security and reliability.

Luis Quinones pursued their education chronologically, starting with a Bachelor's degree in General Studies from Indiana University Northwest, which they completed between 2013 and 2016. Following this, they enrolled at Purdue Global from 2018 to 2019 and obtained a Master's degree in Science in Cybersecurity Management, specializing in Cybersecurity.

In addition to their formal education, Luis Quinones has also obtained several certifications to enhance their expertise. In September 2021, they became certified in CompTIA Security+. Later, in March 2022, they earned the Cisco Certified Network Associate Industrial (CCNA I) certification from Cisco and also became a GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certified by GIAC Certifications. Continuing their professional development, in March 2023, they obtained the Certified Clever Trainer certification from Clever Inc. Additionally, Luis Quinones completed the Google Project Management: Specialization program through Coursera and received their certification in May 2023.
