Sharaine Brown

Sharaine Brown has had a diverse range of work experiences, primarily focused on education. Sharaine is currently serving as the Chief Academic Officer at Richard Allen Preparatory Charter School. Prior to this role, they were a co-owner of Arterial Coffee, LLC. Sharaine also held various leadership positions in education, including serving as a Principal at Sankofa Freedom Academy Charter School, AD PRIMA Charter School, and Eastern University Academy Charter School. Additionally, they worked as an ELA Teacher and English Department Head at Eastern University Academy Charter School. Before their career in education, Brown worked as a Curriculum Developer at Wireless Generation. Sharaine began their career as a Humanities Teacher at Universal Institute Charter School and later as an American Literature Teacher at Imhotep Institute Charter High School.

Sharaine Brown received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Secondary Education/English from Lincoln University between 2001 and 2004. Sharaine later pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Educational Administration and Curriculum and Instruction Supervision from Gwynedd Mercy University, completing their studies between 2010 and 2012.
