Katherine Engels

Katherine Engels is an Associate at Richardson Plowden & Robinson, PA, since May 2020, and previously served as a Summer Law Clerk. Katherine gained significant experience as a Research Assistant for Professor Seth Stoughton at the University of South Carolina School of Law from May 2019 to August 2021. Additional experience includes a Summer Law Clerk position in the Public Defenders Office for the 13th Judicial Circuit in summer 2019, and a Congressional Internship with the U.S. House of Representatives in summer 2018. As a Field Director for Warren For Governor, Katherine led campaign efforts in the Clemson/Anderson area. Katherine holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law and a degree in Political Science from Clemson University, graduating in May 2018.
