Casey Schermick

Casey Schermick has a diverse range of work experience. Prior to their current role as the Head Golf Professional at Richmond County Country Club starting in 2022, they worked as an Assistant Golf Professional at the same club from 2021 to 2022. Before that, Casey served as the Director of Athletic Media Relations at Long Island University from 2018 to 2021, where they played a crucial role in promoting the athletic department and acted as the primary contact for several sports. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as the Sports Information Director at William Paterson University of New Jersey, responsible for managing the institution's athletic website. Casey also held the position of Assistant Sports Information Director at Manhattanville College from 2015 to 2017, where they contributed to various sports promotional efforts and maintained the college's athletic website. Casey started their career in 2011 as a Student Assistant in the Sports Information Department at DeSales University, where they managed live stats and website content for athletic events. Additionally, Casey worked as a Featured Columnist for Bleacher Report from 2010 to 2011, focusing on covering Major League Baseball and generating articles with substantial viewership.
