Trish Smith Lpc

Trish Smith, LPC, serves as an Alumni Mentor at the College of Health Professions, Virginia Commonwealth University, where Trish advises minority students and alumni in their academic and professional development. At Richmond Creative Counseling, LLC, Trish provides individual psychotherapy aimed at promoting adaptive regulation and psychological distress processing. Trish has extensive experience in various roles, including as a Board Member for the Brain Injury Association of Virginia, a Sexual and Domestic Violence Counselor at Safe Harbor Shelter, and a Clinician at the Virginia Anti-Violence Project, demonstrating a strong focus on trauma-informed care and support for survivors of violence. Trish holds a Master of Science in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from James Madison University.
