Jonathan Markham

Jonathan Markham has a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in various roles and companies. Jonathan currently works as an Assistant Controller at Richmond National since February 2022. Prior to that, Jonathan worked at Elephant Insurance for 6 years, starting in 2016. At Elephant Insurance, they held roles such as Accounting Manager from December 2019 to February 2022, Senior Expense Accountant from May 2018 to December 2019, and Statutory Accountant from August 2016 to May 2018. Before joining Elephant Insurance, Jonathan worked at Blue Ridge ESOP Associates for 8 years, starting in 2008. There, they served as a Plan Administrator from July 2010 to May 2016 and as an Associate from August 2008 to July 2010.

Jonathan Markham attended East Carolina University - College of Business from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2008, they attended Emory & Henry College and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting. Additionally, during the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Public/Applied History from Emory & Henry College.
