Roy G. Boyd has an extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Roy G. currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer at BV Contracting Solutions and BV Strategic Solutions. In 2022, they became the President of WEN-MAR Wholesale Distributors. Prior to this, they held the position of Public Service Chairman at the City of Blue Springs in 2008.
In terms of their previous executive roles, Boyd worked as the Chief Operating Officer at LBA Air Conditioning, Heating & Plumbing Inc. from 2018 to 2020. Roy G. was responsible for overseeing operational policies, sales, and marketing. From 2015 to 2018, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Swift Construction & CEI Electrical/Mechanical, where they oversaw all operations and sales and contributed to strategic alignment and reorganization efforts.
Boyd also has experience in consulting services. From 2009 to 2018, they were the President and Chief Advisor at Boyd Consulting Services LLC, and from 2009 to 2015, they served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Boyd Midwest. Their earlier experience includes working as the Regional Director of Engineering and Construction at Marriott and Sheraton Branded Hotels from 2005 to 2012.
Before their executive roles, Boyd worked as a Senior Construction Project Manager and Estimator at the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America from 1998 to 2005.
Roy G. Boyd's education history includes several different institutions and areas of study. In 2014 to 2015, they attended Baker University, where they pursued a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Finance. Following that, from 2015 to 2017, they enrolled at Charter University and completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Accounting. Roy then moved on to UBC of Kansas City, where they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Construction Management and Blue Print Reading. Additionally, they attended Johnson County Community College, where they studied HVAC, CAD, and obtained EPA Certification. Lastly, in 1998 to 1999, Roy attended the Marine Corps Communications-Electronics School, where they received training in Radio and Satellite Communications.
