Dhruva Dandekar

Dhruva Dandekar has worked in various roles since 2008. In 2008, they were a Project Intern at Larsen & Toubro Ltd, where they worked on setting up a secure Bluetooth connection for a 'Real time vehicular diagnostic system'. Dhruva then worked as a Summer Intern at Larsen & Toubro Ltd in 2010, where they worked with the Wireless Networks group at the Heavy Engineering Division. In 2011, they were an Intern at the Center for Systems and Software Engineering at the University of Southern California, where they worked on the Unified Code Count tool. Dhruva also worked as a Staff Engineer at Hammett & Edison, Inc. in 2011, where they were involved in RF exposure studies, cell site analysis and feasibility, systems design, and cell site evaluation for FCC regulations. In 2013, they joined the founding team of Summon (formerly InstantCab) as a Senior Applications Engineer, where they were the Lead QA for all Ridecell's products and the primary master debugger for production issues and regressions. Dhruva then joined the founding team of Ridecell as a Product Manager, where they were the Product Lead for Ridecell's first OEM Carsharing with BMW Carsharing Backend System. Dhruva then moved to the role of Senior Product Manager, where they were responsible for contributing to the overall Product roadmap, specifying, implementing and executing on complex, global projects and features for the Ridecell Mobility Platform. In 2013, they were promoted to Principal Product Manager.

Dhruva Dandekar began their educational journey in 1992 at St. Mary's School (I.C.S.E). Dhruva then attended RD National College from 2003 to 2005, where they studied Physics, Chemistry, Math, Electronics, and English. Dhruva earned a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 2009. Dhruva then pursued a Masters in Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California, which they completed in 2011. In 2013, Dhruva obtained the Engineer In Training / Fundamentals of Engineering certification from the Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists, State of California.
