Riana Jagessar has a diverse range of work experience. Riana started their career at Desire2Learn (D2L) as a Quality Assurance Analyst, where they were responsible for creating and executing test cases and conducting session-based testing on the Learning Management System.
Riana then joined SAP as a Product Support Analyst, where they provided support for database products and worked closely with customers to diagnose and solve issues.
At SAP, Riana also worked in the Product Management team, focusing on the SAP IQ product. Riana conducted competitive research, compiled market requirements, and investigated new features, creating whitepapers on their usage.
Afterwards, Riana joined Loblaw Digital as an Associate Merchant, where they worked with the Click & Collect and Joe Fresh merchandising teams. Riana conducted extensive data analysis using Microsoft Excel, tracked metrics, and generated reports.
Currently, Riana is working at RideCo On-Demand Transit. Riana started as a Business Analyst and subsequently took on roles as a Senior Business Analyst, Technical Customer Success Manager, Senior Technical Project Manager, and currently, Senior Manager of Technical Services. In these roles, they have been responsible for end-to-end project management, integration processes, client relationships, data and business intelligence team leadership, and implementation and training for microtransit rollouts.
Throughout their career, Riana has demonstrated expertise in data analysis, project management, technical implementation, and building client relationships.
Riana Jagessar attended the University of Waterloo from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Mathematics degree. Their field of study focused on Combinatorics and Optimization as well as Computational Mathematics.
