Ian Watt

Ian Watt is a seasoned professional in civil engineering and project management with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as a Partner at Ridge and Partners LLP since March 2019, Ian has previously held roles such as Project Manager at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, where responsibilities included managing the Metrolink tram extension project and overseeing a heavy rail platform delivery for Network Rail. Prior to that, Ian worked as a Project Engineer and Civil Engineer at Transport for London, focusing on engineering support and asset management. Ian began a career at the UK Ministry of Defence as a Graduate Engineer and also gained early experience as an English Teacher in Taiwan. Ian holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Surrey and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leicester.
