Wendy Bates

Wendy Bates is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as HR Business Partner and previously as Human Resources Director at Ridgecrest Regional Hospital since 2022, Wendy has also worked as HR Manager at Guardian HR from February 2021 to April 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Director and Chief Human Resources Officer at the College of the Redwoods from May 2016 to August 2020, where responsibilities involved planning and coordinating HR operations to enhance workforce stability and morale. Earlier roles include Human Resources Director at Bear River Band Rohnerville Rancheria from 2012 to April 2016. Wendy holds a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Humboldt State University.
