Matthew Kail

Matthew Kail has extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, currently serving as the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at Ridgewood Energy since June 2017, where responsibilities include strategic planning, forecasting, and the development of financial insights across departments. Prior roles at Ridgewood Energy include Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst III, and Junior Financial Analyst, with a focus on budget control, ad-hoc reporting, and ensuring quality of financial data. Matthew gained foundational experience as a Financial Planning & Analysis Intern in 2016. Before entering finance, Matthew held the position of Certified Head Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at Shongum Lake Property Owners Association. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Energy, Business and Finance with a minor in Economics from Penn State University.
