Philani Sangweni

Technical Support Engineer at RIGHT TO CARE

Philani Sangweni has a diverse work experience spanning over the past decade. Philani began their career in 2011 as an IT Assistant at ICC Durban and later worked as a Control Room Operator at the Durban International Convention Centre. In 2014, they joined the KZN Department of Social Development as an IT Support Technician.

Philani then moved on to First Technology and served as a Service Desk Technician for nine months before joining TRADE CALL INVESTMENTS APPAREL as an IT Support Technician.

In 2017, they became a Service Desk Technician at Columbus Consulting SA before transitioning to Health Information Systems Program - South Africa, where they worked as a Technical Support Engineer & Technical Facilitator from 2018 to 2020.

In 2021, Philani held the role of a Technical Support Agent at the Institute of Health Programs and Systems before joining Right to Care as a Technical Support Engineer.

Philani Sangweni attended Umlazi Comprehensive Technical High School from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Matric degree in Electrical Technology. From 2010 to 2012, they attended Mangosuthu University of Technology and completed a National Diploma in Information Technology.
