Sizwe Hlongwane has a diverse work experience that spans over 12 years. Sizwe began their career in 2008 as a Professional Nurse at Fortnapier Hospital, where they worked until 2012. In 2012, they joined Gcumisa Clinic as a School Health Nurse for a year before moving on to TB/HIV Care Association in 2013. At TB/HIV Care Association, Sizwe worked as a Project Coordinator for the MMC program until 2016.
In 2016, Sizwe joined Right to Care as a Program Coordinator for the MMC program and held this position until 2017. Sizwe then progressed to the role of Operations Manager, a position they held for two years, until 2019. Currently, Sizwe is working as the Deputy Chief of Party at Right to Care.
Sizwe Hlongwane began their education in 2004 at KZNCN, where they obtained a Diploma in Nursing, specializing in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Sizwe completed their nursing program in 2008. In 2014, they attended Stellenbosch University, where they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in HIV management, focusing on Health/Health Care Administration/Management. From 2019 to 2019, Sizwe enrolled in MANCOSA and achieved a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management (PDBM), broadening their knowledge in Business Administration and Management, General. Most recently, in 2020 to 2021, they pursued further education at MANCOSA, specializing in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General.
